I'm a Fort Collins–based insurance billing and credentialing specialist working exclusively with mental health professionals across Colorado.

I came to this work in a pretty personal way: my husband is a therapist in private practice, and after I left a career in elementary school teaching to spend more time with our son, I took over the billing for his group practice. What started as a family project turned into something I genuinely love — fighting back against insurance companies, navigating the credentialing maze, and making sure therapists get paid what they're owed so they can focus on their clients.

I know the Colorado insurance landscape firsthand. I work with commercial panels and Health First Colorado (Medicaid), and I understand how the billing and credentialing process feels from the inside of a therapy practice — not just from a spreadsheet.

I'm originally from Minnesota, but Colorado has been home most of my life. When I'm not wrangling insurance claims, you'll find me working through the coffee shops of Northern Colorado with a good book, or at a theater performance (musicals especially). Bombadil, our golden retriever, is also frequently underfoot — and yes, there's a discount for anyone who catches the reference.
